A Heart for Prayer: We believe that God desires that men and women maintain an ongoing communication relationship with Him through prayer. We believe that prayer is essential to the health and direction of the Church, and that through prayer a Church maintains its unity of purpose. A Heart for God's Evangelism: We believe that people matter to God and therefore ought to matter to the Church. By this we believe that our Church and each member of the Church must be constantly reaching out to others, inviting them to be a part of God’s family. A Heart for God's Word: We believe that anointed teaching is the catalyst for transformation in the lives of individuals and the Church. We place a high value on spending time studying and teaching the principles of the Bible.
A Heart for Worship: We believe that worship is honoring to God and binds the Church together as a family. We believe that worship should be culturally relevant while at the same time remaining doctrinally pure. We encourage the use of music and the arts as expressions of worship.
A Heart for Holiness: We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in the lives of all believers, bringing them first into a state of wholeness and further into a state of holiness. We also believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in the world convincing and convicting men and women of their need for salvation.
A Heart for Community: We believe that life change happens best in small groups of people committed together one to another.
A Heart for Ministry: We believe that a Church should operate as a unified community of servants with men and women stewarding their spiritual gifts.
A Heart for Spiritual Growth: We believe that the Church should be organized in such a way as to promote spiritual growth in the lives of all believers. Further, we believe that this growth will best be accomplished through the various ministries of the Church: small groups, discipleship classes, Sunday School classes, etc.
A Heart for Stewardship: We believe in the scriptural admonition of giving to support the ongoing work of the local body, the apportionments to the general Church, as well as the support of local and extended interests. We further believe in the practice of good stewardship of all resources and encourage the Church to offer whatever means necessary to enable the body of Christ to become contributors in every way: time, talent, and treasure.
